At Anchor Medical Transport, our mission is simple: make sure no patient in North Georgia misses a medical appointment because they couldn't get a ride. We provide affordable, dependable, and dignified non-emergent wheelchair transport — so patients can focus on their health, and families can have peace of mind.

Our Story
Anchor Medical Transport was founded by Kayla and Brandon Esparza, two North Georgia locals who grew up in the beautiful mountain town of Ellijay, GA. As parents of three young children, family and community have always been at the center of everything they do.
Kayla spent years working in EMS billing, where she saw firsthand how many patients — especially in rural North Georgia — were struggling to find reliable, affordable transportation to their medical appointments. Dialysis patients missing sessions. Hospital discharges delayed. Families scrambling for last-minute rides.
She and Brandon knew they could help. So they built Anchor Medical Transport from the ground up — a service rooted in their community, built on trust, and driven by a genuine desire to make a difference for the patients and medical facilities of North Georgia.
